Warranty
The Powerwall 2 comes with a 10-year, unlimited cycle warranty and a 4-year workmanship warranty covering all repairs, replacement parts, shipping and installation related issues. Tesla guarantees the Powerwall 2 will have 70% of its original 13.5 kWh capacity at the end of the tenth year. Tesla offers what may be the strongest battery warranty available in 2023.
Tesla Powerwall comes with a warranty whose term depends on connecting Powerwall to the Internet. To secure the full 10-year warranty for Powerwall it must be reliably connected to the Internet to allow remote firmware upgrades from Tesla. If an Internet connection is not established or is interrupted for an extended period and Tesla is unable to contact you, the warranty may be limited to 4 years.
