Lower quality Boron-doped, P-type silicon wafers are used by the majority of solar panel manufacturers, retaining an average around 82% after 25 years of service.

In utilizing Gallium-doped silicon, LONGi has reduced the effects of LID effects during the first year to 2%, with less than a 0.5% reduction annually during the remaining service life of the panel. LONGi Gallium-doped panels will retain nearly 85% of the original production power rating after 30 years.

LONGi Solar Panels Efficiency
